Firstly, if someone wishes to bomb someone, then they should probably check with the recipient first - we don't all want to receive anything, especially from overseas.

Secondly, if people want to talk about bombs then they can do so in the bombing section once the bomb has been received.

If you don't like the concept, then ignore the bombing forum. It's quite simple.

Let's leave the discussion closed at that. That's how the forum is going to operate, and I'm putting my foot down.

Well instead, I've added a 'Accept Bombs' tick box with your User Details page.

If you want bombs check it, it's turned off by default.

I've also cleared out the old threads. They're not needed and will only inflame things further.

To change it: Go to User CP in top nav bar, Edit Your Details and it's the very bottom box.


Update:

Ok I've changed it to 'Accepts Bombs' and a tick box with 'Do Not Bomb'.

Which means by default you accept bombs.

It's a shame that what happened has happened, but this seems like an excellent solution to try and prevent anything like it happening again (and make the whole bombing 'thing' a little clearer).

Okay, what am I missing here? Been off the board for a couple days and find this thread about some kind of "problem" with getting bombed but can't find the original thread telling me what the problem is. Can some kind BOTL please point me to it or give me a synopsis?

BTW, I'm currently in Arizona USA for a week visiting an old friend and it's hotter than fuck out here so apologies if my posts are a bit sweaty.
