Off to Cuba in September for my second trip to the island.

Taking girlfriend for extra cigar allowance

100 of the finest Havana's for moi!

Now...what should I buy?

I'm thinking of the P1 jar if I see it, but as it's travel retail only I'll probably not risk 25% of my allowance if I can't get it on the way out.

Hoping the La Gloria Cubana Deliciosos Jar will be available, but not holding my breath.

Other than that, probably Monte Sublimes, Partagas Lustianias, and probably a bunch of 2010 LEs.

Unless anyone can think of anything better?

Years ago when i was in the forces, you were allowed to buy duty frees going in both directions as long as you kept receipts as proof... Has this now changed?

Jammy begger, you will also need to know what you are planning on smoking while out there. +1 for the Monte Sublimes, if i went back to Gib i'd smoke 10 out there easily.

I can only say I'm jealous too. Watch the pricing though as quite often you can buy cheaper online than from the LCDH's in Cuba. There is a price control in force in the ISOM.

I have a spare LGC jar to swap for a P1 jar (with a cash adjustment either way ?) if you can get 2.

I thought the allowance was 50 per person in the suitcase and a little more in carrier bags for hand luggage.
