  • Do you hear voices?

Drew and I discovered we try to read the posts on here with a voice. We try to hear the accent, the intonation, and associate people with a particular speaking voice.

Which voice would you like to be heard as?

You can't post the actual content (of course), but you can suggest the voice you'd like.

Or you could record and post your own voice.

Or you could suggest a voice as you imagine it for someone else.

How do you imagine another member here might sound?

    Confusing?

    OK...

My Dad, before joining the Army, was a docker in the East End of London. He was born on the Isle of Dogs. He was a very heavy cigarette smoker.

This is essentially how I remember his accent and intonation. He was a less animated offstage version of Mike Reid.

Please please have a shot at this one for members on here.

    In His Own Words!

    Great Idea, senor half-round.

Here's a voice over I did for a a website add before don TJ made me a member of la familia Coro
    .

I wonder if this is what you imagined I sounded like?

Gee Wiz, el Perro....I didn't know you were the voice behind this add. My Hero!

      Business in front...party in back!

Don't know about you hombres, but this is what I imagine senor spudnik sounds like when he's partying with his puro buds.

      Roll Tape, Por Favor....

      Spot on, don't you agree?

Born and bred in Dublin inner city - Liberties - so despite a lot of travel and a half decent education i still retain the brogue (thank god)
if you remember the film "the Commitments" you'll have a fair idea - without the expletives, of course!

                    Wonderful to have that brogue!

I'd love to be this guy's mouth and to come into contact with Joan Baez.
                    I'd love his life.

Other British comic masters do exist, but he's well up there.

Joseph I think I've said this before, but I love that track.

Bryan... Steve Coogan kicked helen's cat!

I'd like to think that people heard my voice like Claire Rainer's.

                            Easy one!

I sound exactly like a cross between Sir Winston Churchill and Tiny Tim, with a Turkmenistani accent.

I used to gout with a woman from the flats at Pimlico. Was it Summerside or something? I like the Liberties. The REAL Dublin!
