Beatles vs. Stones

When the Beatles played Shea stadium it was crazy Mad .
I was brought up on both and they both played an important role.
However when the Stones played Madison Square Garden and
Played "Sympathy For The Devil" the place was totally nuts.
The disciple levels recorded during the stones "Sympathy For The Devil"
was the loudest ever recorded .And it wasn't from their music .

I'll give him wet behind the ears. When I drop him in the ocean blue with a nice garland of anvils and rocks around his scrawny neck!

I've got 3 femchilds who are arguably "wet behind the ears" due to their being chronologically challenged. But, damned if I didn't raise them right. They know who the hell The Beatles are. As well as the Stones. And virtually all the great bands of the 60's and 70's. One o' them had made a statement including "Beatles" and "Muzak" in the same sentence and the population of mine offsprings would have decreased by one!

The Rolling Stones, no question. The Beatles are just too quiet and hippy-like for me.

Little Red Rooster by The Stones, I know its a cover, but how cool is that old black n white music video of Jagger slowly walking towards the camera and the slide guitar in the background.
RIP Mr Jones.
I always felt the Stones were more edgy than the Beatles.
