  • RIP Dennis Hopper

Actor Dennis Hopper died today at age 74. Here's an article: http://movie-critics.ew.com/2010/05/...onary-bad-boy/. I watched Rumble Fish for the first time a few days ago and enjoyed Hopper's performance.

Notice below the article the ugly comments about his cigar smoking.

This is very sad news.....Easy Rider is an all-time favorite of the Coros.

A true individual and iconoclast, and certainly the passing of a legend. I think Blue Velvet is my favorite of his.

Yeah this is a shame, he has been in the news a lot recently with his illness and troubles with his marriage. His has been a very public death, but at peace now.

A sad, and somewhat unique, loss to the world of cinema

The article responses were shameful reading.

                    Agreed on both counts cj.

The double standards of these people is shocking. Any way to get their little piece of propaganda across. The fact that is of little, if not no, relevance is not even as despicable as the fact that they choose to use the mans obituary to do it on.

I know Lion, really poor show. I let them know about it on the response page, not that it would make a dent

Sad news, Apocalypse Now is a classic.

Those comments are shocking but nothing different to any comments on a random news story.

Sometimes true feelings come out from behind a keyboard as I'm pretty sure most wouldn't dare speak such drivel in public.
