  • Robin Hood

I will see the film again. I truly enjoy historical fiction, but too often Hollywood sways. However, the history about King Richard was fairly correct.

The rest I'm not sure, but I enjoyed the myth and this terrific Ridley Scott film with Russell Crowe. Scott also directed Gladiator, which I saw more than once.

Looking forward to seeing this. According to Crowe, he based his accent on Michael Parkinson

I'm with you on this one senor onwardandupward.

Much better than the Kevin Costner version. Russell Crow is great in medieval genre movies!

Blade Runner is his seminal work for me; blew my little mind at the time.

I still think that movie holds up--one of my all time favorites. Alien was also a classic.

After Mel Brooks, every other Robin Hood film is anti-climactic.

                    Men in tights!"

Another fine observations by our Canadian Commander.

Hey el Perro! I thought the so-called land of Canada was just a dream we once had.

I'm a big fan of historical movies myself. I think I just may have to see this soon.

Gladiator was well made, though I am still upset over the ending. I was expecting the general to join his troops towards the end and invade Rome.
