  • Khan V Malignaggi

Any boxing fans on the forums, would be interested to hear you opinions on who you think will win or who you want to win the big fight tonight between Amir Khan V Pauli Malignaggi.

Personally, I want Khan to win, because I rate him as a great prospect, and exciting young british fighter who I enjoy watching, but mainly because Malignaggi is a gobsh*t, who talks too much and is WAY to full of himself.

Come on Khan, take his head off

Believe it or not it's on ITV at 2.45am, least we'll not have to pay ?15 or whatever to Sky.

Even better! I'd like khan to win and I believe he will. I think he's still got a bit of a glass jaw and lacks punching power but his last performance was strong.

He's a good guy too, ran into him at a charity dinner a couple of years a go, very reserved.

Every-now-and again with Khan though, I get a glimmer (a 'glimpse' if you like) of the 'malady' that afflicted Naseem Hamed and it gives me pause for concern.

I think he may need more ring experience before going after 'old hands' like this boy.
Any problems he may cause, particularly a loss ,would do significant harm to his chances of 'breaking' America.

Perhaps there's something to be said for patience, to walking before trying to run, and, he should stop believing his own press (that way madness lies). I prey any early success (tonight and in his American career) doesn't go to his head.

The regrettable incident at the weigh-in is a theatrical step too far (as far as I'm concerned). In the ring, nobby!
I'm not even sure his opponent, (no gentleman!) would have stooped so low.
Hope he wasn't behind it. Fear he may have been.
