Hmmm watching it and a little confused, i assume you're the affluent one but your location is listed as London yet the family in question is from Morecambe. seems the whole bit I was involved with was edited out; The guy from Cumbria wanted to give a gift of a years worth of singing lessons to Dominique, so I was contacted by the production company. They brought Dominique and her mother round to mine and filmed her having an hour's lesson with me.
They presumably decided to focus on a particular "storyline" for the doc, so there wasn't any room for the singing aspect.

I would say that it was a shame, but then again taking part in something as remarkable as what that programme symbolises has to be reward enough.
