I had an HTC touch a couple of years ago and I wish I'd never dropped it in that pint by accident. Best phone I ever had. Will be looking at HTC very seriously when I renew my contract later in the year.

So are you android owners going to be as boring as all my ME-phone and Crackberry using friends?
I've just gone through a year of "look what my (insert new toy name here) can do and it's getting a bit old.
Yes, I know there are a kazillion really neat apps that do everything but cook your lunch and those "fart" ring tones sure are amusing but does it have a cutter? Can you light your cigar with it?
            No?
            I thought not.

Now go off and Twit or Tweet (or whatever it is you people do) amongst yourselves.

I'm waiting for the full Flash 10.1 update to come for the Desire, personally.

Assuming you mean me, no worries! Still loving mine.

I installed a hacked version of Android on my phone on Friday (for various reasons) and I've managed to at least double the battery life. Scary moment doing the hack though...

Just avoid this thread man, it could get nasty!

RaveDave - hacked android, you are way to pointyheaded matey!

Oh and yes I did mean you, thanks for the tip, I love my Desire (Sorry Bob if you are still here) but I need to get the tips of my fingers sharpened to a point!

Assuming you've still got it on QWERTY in portrait then? Try Settings>Language & keyboard>Touch input and change it to Compact QWERTY or Phone keypad, then turn on Prediction and Spell correction in Text input. See if that helps!
