I didn't bring up who should be where....u did. Do you actually think a country like the US is gonna let terrorists blow shit up on their soil? If you ran a country would you allow something like that to happen in your country?
I know the shooter wasn't american but British correct? Friends of the US....UK has been terrorized by these groups too....they aren't standing for it either nor should they.

I was out pub lunching with my son on Bank Holiday Monday and the Daily Mail - in the pub, wouldn't be mine - ran an article about this gun. We sat over lamb shanks and haddock thinking about how you aim a gun that would go from Deal Pier (where we dined) over the top of our house and on to my kids' old school. The bullet travels at 8,000 mph, apparently.
What struck us was how odd this report was. You don't get many reports of this nature.
I've had US nephews and UK friends' sons out in Afghanistan and Iraq and I know they have been close to death by terrorists' roadside bombs.
I remember feeling weird about cluster bombs being shown on the BBC. Daisy cutters, I believe these appalling bombs were called.
I guess as the son of a Royal Artillery Major - and a sometime travelling Army brat - I've been as close to understanding military ways as a civvie can.
Yet what went through my mind was that this bullet and gun report was still very strange. It wasn't hectoring in its expression. It wasn't really too over the top.
I think what I'm trying to say is that sometimes I'd rather not know about things.
And yet I have silver spoon awards for my teenage marksmanship which I like to breathe on and rub up.
