Have you looked at the HTC Desire? I'm extremely pleased with mine.

daverave999, I have not looked at that one. A friend had the Hero and hated it. I shall google some info on the Desire now. Cheers for the tip.

Deano, you just got a 3GS!!!!!

              some more here

I will be waiting a year as I got my 3GS last year. Probably means i won't want to even touch a 4G for fear of 12 months of hardware envy.

OO, time to do my research and I bet it is a damn site cheaper than the iWank 4G.

I will stick to my Blackberry Bold 2. I have had blackberrys for several years with no problems at all. I know it doesn't have the same apps etc that the iphone has, but from a business perspective I can't fault it.

I have a couple of friends with iphones who have nothing but problems with them, I have liked what I have seen when playing around with them , and as a very long term business contract owner with orange I can have one free, I may consider one next time seeing as you guys rate them so highly

I bought SIM-free from clove.co.uk, and stuck an O2 PAYG SIM in it as there are O2 3G masts a couple of hundred metres from both my work and home. Depends on your usage obviously. T-Mobile seem to be doing some good deals at the moment.

Re: New gen 4 iphone leaked/lost

I'll be sticking to my 3gs till the next iPhone after this. That is IF they manage to pull the fingers out and genuinely be great. They only know too well how to play the hype machine.

I firmly believe that Apple can do no wrong and that Steve Jobs walks on water. Brilliant marketeer that he may be, may Bill Gates burn in hell for eternity for selling the entire world a shoddy, inferior, and bug-ridden product that set the entire computer industry back ten years.
