Sad news, Malcolm McLaren has died of cancer aged 64.

I imagine he may have been difficult and cantankerous, but took punk to the masses which was fundamental in shaping the music/artworld since the 70s, and rebuilt the publicity machine in his won image.

May he rest in exciting peace.

              Sad news indeed.

The crafty ol' bastard managed to make a clever business (and tidy packet) out of the Pistols at the time.

              RIP

I think he was a real piece of work.

At a time when music was pretty stagnant he helped kick off something special that (I was 18 at the time) felt bloody wonderful to be on the outer edges of.

I know he claimed all the glory for himself and I think he was a chancer but he helped kick over the tables of the boring music industry party and god knows we could do with some of that now when that C***** git is feeding us total pap.

I hope they bury him in a bin bag done up with safety pins!
