Spent an hour on the driving range, and it's nice to know my driving is still just as poor as last year Bought a new hybrid today though that's superb, and a new lob wedge that's not bad either Got them from sport direct at a massively discounted price...also got 2 dozen Dunlop quadra link balls for 8 quid!
Last time I played golf I ended up bending one of my clubs in frustration
There is a good driving range near to me just off the M27 at Hedge End. Good automatic tees and nice split level. Also a super view of the motorway. Challenge is to see if you can get the ball on to it.

I very much doubt it I'm fine with irons and wedges off the mat, but teeing off with my huge Donnay driver just doesn't work too well, a problem that I suspect is caused by my club's allignment with the ball...we'll see, I'm heading down there agin later in the week...at a pound for 20 balls I'm not complaining too much!
Edit: Pandy, that place looks frickin' awesome...might even be worth a drive over there!
