  • Forum Members - How shall we know them?

Guys, I have been to a number of events at Boisdale, 10 Manchester street and JJ Fox and I have not been able to recognise members of the Forum. A small subtle badge on the lapel might do it?

I looked into having some proper enamel badges made for the Cigar Walk and for 250 they cost about ?2 each. We have 1,000 members now so we may get to 250.

I know we don't have a design but if we can get enough people interested I will confirm the process and then I 'know a man' who would produce some logo ideas for Deano to sign off.

I think it is a good idea as long it isnt like one of the "HELLO MY NAME IS..." badges. I think it should be a small, simple lapel pin that we would all recognize, but would otherwise not stand out. Maybe like a small metal pin of a cigar, or flag or your country, etc.
It really doesn't have to have anything to do with the forum, just a universally recognized badge. If it were a small flag pin, then we could also see how universally this forum has become by the different flags present at any gathering...

"Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges."

Yes, sounds a good idea. maybe a small enamelled pin that looked like a lit cigar with the UKCF written in side. I wouldnt fancy a union jack with ukcf on it, incase someone thought I was a nazi or something.

I'd like one or two. Small and subtle, but distinctive.
