Prob a bit of a long shot but I thought one of you guys might be able to help
theres a bloke I met who volunteers for the charity I work for and hes had his problems and battled the various demons we all face and hes really turned his life around, anyway hes struggling to do so but is getting there, he lives in a small box size hostel room and is looking for a computer to do basic stuff like write letters and search the net for jobs and things, IM trying to help him get a pc sorted, I think a laptop would suit him best, I thought I had an old one to give him but after trying it out today is fooked.
so I was wondering really if any of you boys had an old laptop kicking about that works, doesnt matter how old it is as long as it does the basics, I cant offer you cash but could send you a few sticks and cover postage... I just see so many wasters day to day its really nice to see a bloke really trying to turn his life around and Id like to help if I could
