hay bear anyone to win as long as its a merc right?
Lol YES! if merc get a win today I'll be off to mb world asap. Same goes for mclaren. Although it is nice to see a British team racing with british blood and a German team race with German blood. Let the world war puns roll on.
I still haven't found a pub with out door seating and tv.
Giving the Diademas a 2nd go as we speak. No irregulatities this time . Ham looks to be on good form. I want to see the Brits dominate with the German engine :P
At least Hamilton is back on the podium, better start than last year. now if he can keep it up.
Mike: Neil, it is very rare you interest me, but today you have. Why do you keep coming in here, carrying a cake, and saying surprise? Neil: It's my birthday. Mike: Now you knew that anyway, and we don't care, so where's the surprise? The Young Ones
Great opening race. Button was a bit too sensible today. It was a shame to see him still feeling the car out.
It was good to see Massa on the podium.
The race overall was a bit boring. I hope the one stop strategy doesn't stick. However if it does I'd say Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton and Rosberg are the ones to watch this season. I would like to say Button too but he is doesn't really take any risks.
Vettel though... What a drive. finished 4th even with an exhausts failure.
Am I the only one who thought it was a boring procession then?
Obviously not... Just seen this posted on the Viz Twitter feed: SCALEXTRIC OWNERS. Recreate the authentic F1 experience by placing 24 cars into the same track slot and 'racing' them for hours
I'm not sure if I enjoyed it or not, I watched the whole thing but felt a bit numb after it.
I would have to say I hope the next one has more excitement to it

Got to agree with that. Will give benefit of doubt and blame circuit this time but won't be watching many if doesn't improve.
Getting far too much a tactical, out of the car team kind of thing, and less to do with how the driver can perform.
Watch some of the individual make type racing and see the difference. Edge of the seat stuff, not just big money trying and sadly failing, to make a spectacle.
Got to agree, on reflection there was no actual racing, almost no overtaking. What happened to getting past in the slip stream, modern aerodynamics have put paid to that. It appears the new fuel and tyre rules encourage a cautious approach. Big step backwards, if it doesnt get better in a couple of races there is going to be trouble.

Well, first race of the season and Bahrain has always been a boring track....A VERY BORING TRACK!!!!
Why do you think they added a new mid field....
We all now know that due to the no fuel stoppy we need a two stop min race, AND I for one think that will very soon...
