Does anyone have any recommendations for internet security software that keeps kids safe online and restricts what they see

My daughters are starting to use the PC and I would for obvious reasons like to restrict and control the stuff they access as they have a habit of just clicking on things.

Years ago, I used to have a copy of something called NetNanny which restricted websites and other things based on a constantly updated list of adult themed sites. I got rid of it in the end as I was spending more time deactivating it and checking out all the sites on the restricted list.

Mark, I firmly believe that the best parental control is a friendly chat with your young daughter. I used to teach pre-high-school kids about internet security back in Greece for a year! If you need anything, just ask

I use BT netprotect or otherwise known as mcafee, i think it has the restriction stuff with it, most service providers these days provide free security. Who is your ISP?

I have Norton 360; it's very restrictive. At times it slows my PC down that you can't get on anything on the computer lmao

Depending on what version of Windows you're running you may have a lot of parental controls already built in.

I didnt know that, let me know if remember who that is. although you'd think with my 20 years as a IT consultant I'd have some idea. Unfortunatley it's not my field of expertise.
