Just read this interesting article where they are talking about third hand smoke. Never even heard of it before this, seems a bit of a joke to me.

Enough already!
Will this crap ever end or are we all going to wander about in big soft cushions. Sometimes, if I thought about it, I could get a mite cheesed off.Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

Sad but probably true folks, although more research into this relatively new area is required. It would be fair to state that children and babies are potentially more 'at risk' from tobacco smoke residue. However, the extent of such was not covered in the research that led to the claim.

Not third hand smoke, but this is quite a good read about second hand smoke

I can understand the concern expressed in that page but it seems excessive. Next there will be a ban on keeping any pet.
I don't like to carry round the post-smoke residuals on my person. I don't like the smell hanging around in my clothes because most people don't appreciate it.
I understand the passive smoking anti regs that are in place and will play the game. I understand the reasoning.
I just get fed up that danger is found in everything.
There seems to be no cut-off between occasional exposure and regular exposure here.
I should be dead from first, second and now third hand smoking having lived in a cigarette fug with my parents.
I really should not have survived.

Ah yes, but you're mum didn't let you play on the carpet!
Moral. Wherever there's funding to be had or on which a PhD paper can be presented. Some arsehole will find the excuse. If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

how much policing can we take. I understand that children are at risk, but hey that's their fault. If they can't walk yet and need to crawl around, that's too bad.
Seriously, 3rd hand smoke is the least of my worries. What about all the air pollution caused by cars, trucks, motorcycles, industries, cows, pigs.....These people have nothing better to do than try to scare people into believing they're sick. When is this shit going to end, it's really a sad situation.why do men have nipples?

Im sorry, did I just read "Smoke Dust" in that 'story' ??!!
How the hell have I not heard about this "smoke dust" ??
I read b.s. on that. I am a fire fighter and have NEVER, EVER heard of "smoke dust"
Reason: there is no such thing as smoke dust. How can smoke turn to dust?
90% + of dust is skin, so your little kids are breathing in your own dirty house, not your ciggy.sigpicFor Gallantry
