Roll up! Roll up!
Patti Plinko and her Boy are performing a run at Leicester Square Theatre, every friday night in March and April, 9pm. In short, live highly original, dark, dirty, raw music. Influences from weimar cabaret through to tom waits, brel, piaf and eastern european gypsy music.
We've also been commissioned to write a soundtrack to a Film as part of a silent film festival being held at BFI in March, dates for that are on our myspace.

PRESS REVIEWS
Patti might be a wisp of a thing, but she sings like a hell cat – all purrs, growls and deranged. A dreamy, dark, bourbon-soaked show full of fire and attitude, Patti Plinko is an unmissable chanteuse.
*****FIVE STARS, TIME OUT
An awesome voice, she moves comfortably between intimate whispers and full on song. Her sultry charm gives her a marvelous presence that the music matches.
***** 5 STARS, MUSIC-NEWS
No-one could fail to be seduced by the hiss and purr of Plinko’s voice, odes to dismembered corpses and dead husbands only increasing her debauched allure, a vivid dream of maddening, freakish talent.
*****5 STARS, THE ARGUS
Nina Simone, Diamanda Galas, and now Patti Plinko. A coo that hits all the right dark, knotted places on a listener's spine. Her live performances are equally visceral and not to be missed.
VENUS ZINE Chicago USA
Enthralling entertainment!
From this demure figure erupts a remarkable chanteuse combined with such accomplished musicianship.
THE STAGE
A performance so raw, so gripping, so enthralling. A performer whose sheer brilliance leaves you breathless. Its shows like these that make the Edinburgh festival what it is. If only all gigs could be like this. Welcome to the surreal but utterly wonderful world of the Dada Noir.
**** 4 STARS, FEST MAG
A heady mix of the beautiful and the bizarre. The show is a true spectacle; a performance which will leave audiences astounded.
**** 4 STARS, THREE WEEKS
Like a mad fucking Doris Day meets PJ Harvey.
AMANDA PALMER (DRESDEN DOLLS)
What makes any gig memorable is when it’s blatantly clear a singer’s seriously into their art, obvious delicious delight at performing. As for being welcomed into the surreal, black comical world of Dada Noir? Trust me - you’ll never ever want to leave.
THE BRIGHTON MAGAZINE
Imagine Regina Spektor, Bessie Smith, Jacques Brel, the French Resistance and a glass of absinthe all whisked up in a blender. That's what Patti Plinko sounds like. Just incredible. Seriously.
THE HEARING AID
An enthralling performance from Patti, you’re never quite sure what surprises you’ll find. go check them out.
MEAN FIDDLER
“CRITICS CHOICE”
TIME OUT
Id love to go for a smoke after a show if anyone is planning on coming along, but not sure if will actually be able to on the night (papparazi, you know the score robusto!) we'll see!
Cheers
