  • Opinions on this cooler please guys

Im lookings at getting a smaller cooler for box storage, but will never use the actual cooling element , i just want it for the decent door seal etc

I will be using 1 pound of heartfelt beads and an oust fan for circulation.

Its a decent price, its a toss up of getting this for my boxes, or another 7 drawer from humidoro.

Any thoughts would be great guys

Looks fantastic, are the shelves removable/movable?

What's the total project cost (just for the record) and do they do the wine cooler in a nice cherry wood?

Look forward to seeing the pictures of it full of cigar boxes!

A lot's going to depend on where you're thinking of keeping it Lee. There's no way my missus would let me have one of those indoors! But great in the shed or garage and a bit cheaper than a seven draw humi.
If you want to, you can.

Hmmmm, doesnt state if the shelves can be moved.

        Total cost would be

        Chiller ?79.99

        Beads, fan and shipping ?42.00

        Total ?122

Not bad really as long as the shelves are removeable

I dont mind the looks, will look ok next to my desk in the kitchen. Size wise i think i will get much more in than in the 7 drawer. Its either that or order a 7 drawer, remove the drawers for the boxes and do it that way.

          God what to do lol

Cooler looks ideal but it seems a shame to spend all that money and not switch it on.

If your not worried about the temp during the summer go for another 7 drawer.

Me, I'm quite fussy about the temp of mine during the summer as my whole house is like a greenhouse, most of the time it gets up to about 83 in here.
so I generally have to move my humis round the house to find the coldest spot, (which is currently the wife's side of the bed.!!)

How many humidors and how many cigars owned by the forum. !?!

This logic applies to NC's as well; however, let us consider for the moment the production of Cuban cigars.

Primero: Cuban see-gars are made in?... Yes, you over there standing behind that llama thrusting your hips to and fro with that silly grin on your face? Yes! Completimento Correcto! CUBA!

Secudomundus: The average annual temperature in Cuber is about 77 degrees Fahrenheit (about 25 degrees Celsius). Relative humidity varies from 60% to 70% in the daytime and from 80% to 90% during the night.

Triceratops: The tobacco leaves are picked, dried, cured, fermented, and aged before they ever become stoughies. This process can take from several months to several years depending on the particular vitola being made.

Quadriceps: Sekrit NASA, CIA, Homeland Security, and Pittsburgh Beaver Troop #387 spy satellite overflights have revealed no modern air-conditioned, climate-controlled facilities in any of the Cubistanian cigar making cigar maker places where they make cigars.

Fiftomente: Nay, verily, piezo electronically enhanced spy satellite cell phone camera pitchers reveal that every single mother's son stooghie, from the teensiest petite corona demitasse to the humongodorous

has been hecho a mano in crappy, run-down, mostly open sided shacks.

Sexinaminuto: Therefore, to worry about keeping your strewghies at a miniscule variance in temp and humids is either foolhardy or foppish. Back home in mother CubaCopaCabana, them sticks was raised in hothumid allovertheplace. Sure, you wanna make sure the cute little buggers don't get too dry; that leads to wrapper crapping... err... cracking. But a few degrees hotter/colder, a few percentagers less or a lot of perscented more of humiditiness ain't gonna hurt 'em. Trust me on this. I wouldn't lie to you.

Got to agree with 'touch-down brings me back around to find' here. I think temperature and exact humidity control are overrated for mid-term storage. Sure for your desktop it is nice to keep a constant 65-68% but for storage a little variance is not the end of the world.
