            Good thread. Nice kit you've got there monkey. Love the photos.

            All very interesting for me, having literally dipped my toes into the espresso machine world only five days ago. A cheap little ?25 machine (down from ?80) which I bought at Argos, it got a decent review in Which? so thought I'd risk it. Very happy so far. Like my Americanos how I was getting them in Italy a couple of weeks ago - about two thirds of a cup of espresso, with just a dash of hot water on top.

              Do you use pre-ground coffee or do you have a grinder? If you dont have a grinder, it worths investing in a decent one... there is no comparison between pre-ground, supermarket coffee and freshly ground!
