That is what happens when you let yourself been ruled by a nanny state. They monitor everything. They tax everything. They think they know what is best for you and god help you if you don't let them tell you what to do. They appear to have some god given sense of what is good for us, even when it goes against scientific advice.

I am sick to death of it, but I cannot say that. Last time I ranted on my facebook I had the police on the phone. That is when the penny really dropped as to how "big brother" has us by the balls.

I don't think all the rubbish about drinking games is actually going to be enforced heavily, it's more aimed at drinks promoters and clubs who organise competitions to drink as much as possible to win... More booze! Which is a bit backwards, don't think it will affect casual games or eg: University's society sessions.

3 weeks in, but I have new resolutions for the year:
          1. Go to Robin Hood Airport
          2. Possibly in full costume with bow and arrow
          3. Rant better
          4. Do not piss off Big T

Fair point, all it takes is some pencil neck at GCHQ doing a search on google for 'B*mbs' and this site would probably shoot right to the top (with a big red flag), no doubt setting off a siren and a blue and red flashing light.

              Paranoid, me?

It is not that bad if you have got your own mind and opinion, but it is too bad if you are just following and listening to whatever someone is telling you.
Imagine what it would be in 10-20 even 50 years?
Same like we are living in some stupid movie from the "future" where everything is under control.

Just got news that friend of mine is gone..swine flu!
The other one is gone because of drunk driver!
I think there are much more important things to think about and deal with, than drinking games and smoking "wherever" you want to...

There are so many people against the smoking ban, isnt there any organised legal petion/campaign going to reverse it? With this so many of us against it there must be something?

No point. there are vested interests at work here. I remember when it first came in in Ireland, I said that booze would be next. Well, guess what? The health Nazis are on the march!

Another passion of mine is motorbikes. You should see the crap the suits are trying to make law. Grrrr!! Don't get me going!!!
Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.
