  • aarrrrrrgggghhhh!!!!

Got into work this morning to 6 inches of water throughout the premises, ceilings caved in, sparks flying from bare wires were the light fittings have fallen, and water pissing out of the pipes

I have tens of thousands of pounds worth of equipments and stock floating, and an unsafe environment for my staff

Now I have to go through the insurance, clean up, repair procedure , damn what a mess

I am sorry Lee .... but you'll get through .... and stronger than ever if your Insurance Company is quick about it.

One really important thing. Your clients. Keep them informed and keep close, it's surprising sometimes how folks will rally around you in situations like this.
If you want to, you can.

Lee, nothing I can say that will not sound trite, but good luck with the rebuild, insurance, etc...

WOW, not a good way to start the week. As everyone else, hope it's a painless and speedy transition back to normal for you.

Lee sorry to hear about that , was no heating left on to avoid freezing [assuming a frozen pipe] at least frost protection should have cut-in. Step back and light a stogie, all the best.

Sorry to hear that Lee, at least your not alone. I had a burst pipe under the floor boards last night. Didnt realise until I noticed the tank had been filling up for quite a long time!

Didnt find the source of the problem til this afternoon.

Had to drain the system, no water all day. Plumber just left an hour a go.

Insurance company coming to assess the damage tomorrow...
