generally myself don't read at all...last thing i read was Karl Pilkington book as i find he makes a lot of sense in what he says. for me if a book is any good it will be made into a film so i'll watch that when it comes out if i want, so instead of spending days reading a book i can watch the film in an hour and a half or so. job done

I have just finished reading 'Habanos: The story of the Havana cigar' by Nancy Stout which I picked up from the Abebooks link. Its a big hardback and starts off a little pretentious but soon settled down into a fascinating read with lots of interesting history and some great photographs. I knew for instance that Britain had occupied Cuba but not that we swapped it for Florida. It cost me ?8.75 second hand posted from Atlanta which was about half of what Amazon wanted for it also second hand.'Cigars are a hobby, cigarettes an addiction'

Sounds like an interesting read. I've had a bit of an interest recently with spanish colonialism, nothing to do with cigars coincidentally. I read a bit about Cuba and other parts of the Americas and it was really interesting. Could do with one of those 'A brief history of' books on it I reckon
