The waiting game...

OK, so I've spent my morning indoors waiting for a Christmas present to arrive. Having ordered a laptop for my Mum I was told it was supposed to arrive between 8 & 1. It's now 12:30, and having cancelled my morning's activities I'm starting to get boredom on the brain, so my question is:

- What's the longest time you've had to wait in for something to be delivered?

Ordered a special edition game to play the day of release. Paid for pre 10am delivery. Checked my tracking number at 10.01 , it had been signed for It eventually turned up about 28 days later, the time you must allow with certain companies before you can lodge a complaint.

I once ordered a catalogue from a bookshop and it took 13 months to arrive.

9 months ..... 4 times!

LOL - well it turned up at 2:30 - an hour and a half later than the window they gave me. Still it all works. Now all wrapped and ready for Friday.... it's going to be an exciting Christmas!

Married 33 years (that's 19.731 furlongs in Britannia measure) and still waiting for the old bat to deliver...
