Flurries yesterday. Strong winds all night. We let the dog on to our bed for the first time ever last night because he was howling like a wolf at the wind whistles.

Not a flake on a pavement in White Cliffs Country to date.

I'm on holiday from 12.30pm til Jan 04 so I do not want to be snowed in at work today!
    I smell freedom.

Took me 1 1/2hours this morning going to work from Bedfordshire to Hertfordshire. Lot more in Bedfordshire, took me 3 different attempts on routes to work. Blizzards had covered the roads a foot or more in snow, got stuck on one occasion, couldnt see the road edges, nearly ended up in the ditch. Wish i'd stayed at home now im at work

Woke up today, just one tiny pathetic car with snow on it. The rest were frosted, mine and a few others just looked like they were caught in the rain.

and here was me dreaming of a white christmas watching the patio heater melting the snow away while I - cigar in hand, sip the night away with a lovely malt.
          Thanks

              This was my place yesterday!

Looks like the wife almost got her wish, a few flakes turned into 4-5 inches overnight.
Of course the whole town has now come to a standstill despite the roads being clear???? and the schools are closed, its bin day as well, I suppose the lazy council will stop that due to 'elf & safety and we'll have too wait another 2 weeks

Working from home today, which means plenty of cigars on the go.

                    It's snow joke!

Very Winteresque here .... snow covered roofs and parked cars looking like igloos!

                            Scandinavian.

Does make you wonder how the scandinavian countries cope, year in and year out!
