Go for the 2.5T S-Max !! same engine as a Focus ST, there was a guy on Fast Ford aiming for 400bhp out of his. I used to have 1 2l diesel, great car

IMHO S-Max is a great people carrier (drove the 2.0 turbo D for a couple of weeks and was blown away) and BMW 3-series E46's are fantastic value used cars.

got our lass a used Citreon xsara picasso and she can just throw the pram in no bother at all. Still got my 10 year old mx5 though bloody love it in the summer, roof down, stogie in hand, bliss
