A 'Salisbury' with an electric heater and lights in the roof for me. With canvas sides down in winter toasty warm in there!

First saw them in the Garden of the Black Rat in Winchester. They have 3 or 4 and you can smoke in them all year around.

That's great! I'm glad I'm not the only one with the 'flat' issue. Just outside my window is a small ledge, I don't know whether to risk it... or, indeed, if it would even take my weight...

Just found out my missus is out on a Christmas meal with her girlfriends tomorrow night so I'll be throwing open the Veluxes and reclining with a couple in the loft in 24 hours. Might watch Bill Bailey and his orchestra DVD as an accompaniment up there. I like revisiting my teenage smoke memories lol.
