    Do You think a dollar
    Will go in the
    CC Market
    Compaired to
    The NC CIGAR
    Market?
Im sorry should have worded it differantly!
    This is my thoughts
It seems that in the NC market today where getting a little more bang for the buck . With the economy being is such and awful state. But our Government wont play ball with the cigar companys. Better Prices = higher Taxes. Is it the same all over the world?

    Your thoughts Gentlemen !

hmmmm.....not really interested in the cc vs nc debate. Comes across as a little bias from someone selling nc's.

Think most people know my views on the whole NC v CC thing. If anything I like buying the ridiculously LOW PRICED* smokes, finding out that they're actually pretty damn nice is a good thing. At least if they suck you can toss em away. I find CC's are more of a financial liability, if you get some crappy ones, you kinda feel cheated. At the minute I cant afford to take such risks with the 50/50 nature of a CC. At least with NC, I know I'm getting something rather consistent 80% of the time, for most of a the time, a better experience, and a lower cost.

Bearing in mind I'm still exploring the waters of the NC market, I love trying new brands out. I think when I'm more established (and richer), I won't be so worried about crap Cubans as I will chuck them on the fire (which is lit by 50 pound notes instead of wood). Income is a relative factor per person I know, but for me, I stand by my views

I happen to know firsthand what a dollar will get you.

Back before I knew better, I used to buy see-gars from "America's Oldest Mail Order Cigar Company." Thompson Cigars. Welp, BOTL's and SOTL's for reasons I will never quite figure out, I somehow got sweet-talked into buying what sounded like a really great cigar for cheap: JAD. A 6 1/2 x 52 Gran Torpedo, box of 25, a buck apiece! Like winning the lottery.

Brothers and sisters, hear my testitmony:

A ONE DOLLAR CIGAR TASTES EXACTLY LIKE YOU WOULD EXPECT A ONE DOLLAR CIGAR TO TASTE LIKE!

I'm with Mr B, who cares.
With the exchange rate starting to creep back up and the generosity of our american allies for making them available then I'm going to give them a good going over. You'd be stupid not to. My cigars will taste slightly sweeter knowing that I've not had to remorgage the Hogg chateau for a box and still enjoy them.
