I just finished reading The IPCRESS File before Christmas and have just started the next, Horse Under Water. Loved Ipcress, the film was utterly shit in comparison.

I'm reading a book called Somme Mud, the experiences of a young Australian infantryman out in France during WW1. Its a fascinating account that realistically puts across the horrific life in the trenches of the Somme.

I am in the last chapters of "The Lost Symbol" of Dan Brown. I love his work and have already read all his other books!

Marc Morris is the fella who did those castle documentaries on history channel a few years back.
Little factoid I read last night in above book.
Did you know The Hotel Savoy on The Strand sits exactly where a palace called Savoy Palace stood which was built in the 13 century by Henry 111 for Peter of savoy.
It was demolished hundreds of years ago and all his furniture and bling was fired into the Thames as he was hated for his oppulence, but the name lived on....
