I'm working my way through The Night's Dawn trilogy by Peter F. Hamilton. Each book is 1200+ pages and to be honest some of it is waffle.
I'm also reading the new edition of Revolution in the Head. A blow by blow account of all the Beatles songs.
Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

Just started For Whom The Bell Tolls by Hemingway. My first book by him and it's a bit of a slow starter but enjoyable so far.
              Keep it country.

Finest Years - Churchill as Warlord 1940-45 - Max Hastings. Cigars do get a mention here and there too. It is worth a read.

After that a huge Christmas pile of books for the dark months of the year.

Vivien Burr? If so, that certainly altered my view on 'reality'.

I just finished reading The IPCRESS File before Christmas and have just started the next, Horse Under Water. Loved Ipcress, the film was utterly shit in comparison.

I have a couple on the go at the moment but predominantly reading just the one:
The Count of Monte Cristo: Alexandre Dumas.
Also I'm reading a little bit of philosophy; The Pens?es: Blaise Pascal
Also reading V for Vendetta: Alan Moore [graphic novel], but will finished that off after the Dumas.

I have a massive pile of books to read but find with day to day life I never get round to them lately, I really fancy a holiday soon where I can chill in a picturesque setting and catch up on a few

i am reading the daily bible. it is the bible, but you have a reading assignment for every day of the year. by the end of the year, you will have read the whole bible! although i read it once before minus two or three books in the old testament. i just got quite bored with so and so begot so and so and so and so begot so and so. last time it only took me 3 months! but i never "officially" finished it because of those 2-3 books. tonight.....i have two days to read because im a slacker!
