I'm reading A Gate At The Stairs by Lorrie Morgan.

I should read more, but I am usually too busy reading texts for school.

            Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain

I love this book, must have read it about 10 times so far. It's a great insight into what goes on behind the scenes in most restaurant kitchens.

Love this book, a great journey. "A cooks tour" is also great. I have never read any of Bourdain's fiction though.

Yes, I've read A Cooks Tour a few times, the TV series for it was great to, I have most of his tv work on DVD.
Last book of his I read was called "The nasty bits" and contained most of his dodgy food tastings such Pigs anus and fetal duck eggs.

Just read J. M. Coetzee's 'Disgrace' (about 7 years after everyone else).

Despite the high accolades this book got (Booker prize, Nobel prize) it didn't really do it for me. Great narrative and did take me to a place no doubt but (for many reasons) the lead character was far to close to home to enjoy.

So maybe what I am trying to say is this was a great book but not for me ....maybe.

President George Bush's Book "Decision Points"
Always a good read hearing what went into some key decisions and behind the scenes during some key moments that directly affected my service.
At the same time I am also reading Prime Minister Tony Blairs book for the same reasons.

I've been reading the Bryant & May (Yes, the old match manufacturer) series of detective books by Christopher Fowler.
I think there are seven so far and I've got two more to go.
Perhaps we ought to set up a book swap between us all. I usually resell them on amazon for peanuts, or give them to a charity shop.

read the Lost Symbol and The girl with the dragon tattoo on holiday , love the Dan Brown books , the Dragon book was a little bit heavy going with all the Sweedish words but would recommend it and will be reading the next one in the trilogy, strangely enough the author died before the trilogy went global

Just finished John Grishams "The Brethern", now moved onto "The Broker". Not very heavy reading from this man but a good break from "The Republic" and other political books im into at the moment.

Got a few great ones; "Political Philosophy", "Liberal Fascism" and some combative psychology stuff from the net.

I am reading the James Bond series at the moment. I was reading something completely different and there were a couple of references to the books so I followed it up.

They are completely different the films (obviously!) and I have become bit of a fan, I've just finishing Diamonds are for ever.
