There's a CD called The Hazards of Love by my new favourite band The Decemberists. You've got to listen to it all the way through cos it's a story. My other fave new band is The Joy Formidable. Look em up on Myspace and listen to 'Whirring', utterly brill,IMO. Also check out the banned vid. Hmmm, wonder what those people are doing!

I saw the new CD reviewed in a Sunday broadsheet and the critic liked it.

When I saw Prefab Sprout live in Sheffield in the mid 80s, the girl singer wasn't there. For me, her singing made the Sprout really distinctive so I was disappointed. It was still a very good night, tho.

Paddy writes/wrote a fine tune.
