Forever is amazing, one of my all time faves. I love sunflower too, it's just a very nice album.

The Specials - nostalgia writ large - and I'd forgotten how good these guys were. Interesting that the political protest stuff in the lyrics all rings true again in this new age of localism (sorry to get political)

I can't help but feel that their return to an edgier sound is a slightly desperate attempt to bring some credibility back to the Foos after the last 10 years of mediocre rock. For me, they will never top their first album.

I can't altogether agree with that. I thought their last album was superb.

I'm currently enjoying a blast from the past. I just bought the new Big Country greatest hits compilation. I'd forgotten just how good they were. Such a pity Stuart Adamson is no longer with us.
