I don't listen to much radio (would if I could get 6 in the car) but 6 is the only station I've listened to this year.

I know this is completely at odds with all you guitar heroes, but I'm going to keep plugging away with my musical taste in here despite it being completely different to what everyone else posts.

I've come home and am feeling the need for something a bit on the 'heavy' side having had a few. 'The Nine' by Bad Company had tickled my fancy and it's only going to get a lot darker here on in.

Ahem... keep this to yourselves as I have a certain image to maintain (not quite sure what that is) but I watched Iron Maiden live on the I player last night. Now musically its not really my cup of tea, I got a little bored towards the end and I have a very long attention span, but the playing was fantastic. Nicko Mcbrain (the drummer) is really something else.

I've been working on quite a lot of rock stuff lately so Gogol Bordello, Compay Segundo and Aaron Copland have been my antidote... that and having some fun editing a video of a bonkers old story teller I occasionally work with.
