my favorite album of Mr Waits, you know his son did the scratchin on that album.
My fav is "don't go into that barn", love it, I dont know what vocal effects they use on that track, its like a constant huff n hum in rhythm and it works a treat, reminds me a bit of that doors track off waiting for the sun album, cant remember exact name without checking, think its my wild love.
I liked a couple of your tracks by the way off myspace thingy, esp deepest of the dark and placid obsession.If..

I love Talk Talk, Chris!
I've just been listening for the first time to
Sir Henry at Rawlinson's End.
(I hope I've spelllltttt that correctly).
It is - simply - a work of art. Of literature.
It reminds me of Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood, but with loads of esoteric wit.
Nic - This is an absolute gem which I'll listen to again and again over time.
Thank you!
From one in-car listen so far, I've heard something about a blindfolded sausage at a gay party, somebody with arms like tractors, and someone knitting something endlessly beige.
Mind you, I was driving through Thanet. That's like being on whizz and K so I may have misheard everything.
I heard the reference to the woman smoking perrik (sp?).
Love it that this work made you try that tobacco out!
I'm hooked on this and will give it an applied listen as soon as I can!
My brother used to traumatise me when I was about ten by playing a vinyl copy of an album called Gorilla by the Bonzos.
He used to play a track again and again called Look Out There's A Monster Coming.
It scared the shit out of me at that age.
