Was just wondering (and I know it's a few weeks to christmas yet), if anyone would be interested in taking part in a secret (Cigar) santa a bit closer to the festive season.
I was thinking (if anyone's interested) that I or anyone else for that matter, could run it. Everyone who's interested emails there name and address to whoever is running it, then sometime in December a draw is made then a day or two later I/whoever sends a private email to everyone participating stating who they've to send their cigar too, and if everyone can keep their secrets nobody will know who's sending them? Although just realised if I'm doing the emailing I'll know who'd be sending mine - ah well no pressure on that person then
Was thinking of a fairly relaxed idea with the only rules being:
1. Cigars sent can be Cuban or Non-Cuban
2. Only send cigars that you would be happy to receive (ie, don't send someone a ?1 dog rocket and expect to receive an Opus X)
3. Possibly set a minimum/maximum ? amount on the cigars that can be sent e.g. all cigars sent must be say more than ?5 but less than ?12 (just for example purposes), the idea being everyone recieves a decent cigar (although if your feeling especially generous and want to spend/give more than the maximum amount then that's up to you.
4. All cigars must be posted by a specified date in December so everyone recieves their's before xmas.
Then on the big day when we're all stuffed with turkey and all the trimmings (god I love christmas dinner
), we can log on and say thankyou to whoever our secret santa was before smoking our gifts infront of a crappy movie!
