following on from the sherlock holmes movie talk, i saw steven soderberghs CHE part 1 last night, now if you ever want to see people smoking c.c in films this is the one, by the end of film you just have the need to light one up (unfortunately it was midnight and i was being dragged up to bed)
but it got me thinking what are the best films to watch with a cigar or what films make you want one

Just reading Che's biography at the mo. An 800 pager. Must see the films after I've done that.

i totally agree, after watching che part 1, i was totally in the mood for a cigar! i have to say, i was very impressed with benicio del toro's portrayal of che, quite understated, very realistic! the only thing is though, these films aren't for the casual viewer, in order to know what's going on, you need to have at least a basic idea of the life and times of che guevara! jon lee anderson's book, which deano's reading now, is a good place to start!

incidentally, i read somewhere that che's favourite cigar was the montecristo no. 4!
