Tracking down my old cigar merchant

As some may know on here my old cigar store shut down and the owner(s) vanished. Im trying to contact them via detective work, but my options are quickly running out, I think after this I could join the FBI!

I've tried:


-Asking neiboring shops about activity

-Looking up residential phone numbers in the phonebook (I know their personal names)

- Calling surveyors

- Monitoring if there's any activity myself (One time the wrought iron gate was sawn open and I lookd thru the window and there was lots of mail on the lfoor)

- Ive obtained phone numbers from the net but they do not work

- Googled the shop's address to try and get some info online (property sites, contact info) nothing


What else can I do to track down these people? they were my mutual merchant mates!

If they were supplied by H&F as they probably were then get in touch with them, they may be able to help you, or pass on a message for you.

Paulie is right, I have good contacts if you want me to ask or Steve from the H&F Marketing team is on the forum, he may be at the Herf as well.

oooh of course I didn't think of that, yep they were using H&F. What/where could I start asking? Email them saying i'm after someone from 'bla bla' ?

edit: I've tried lookin at internet archives of the old H&F site to see if they have 'specialists' lists on their old archived sites but those pages aren't saved, damn
