Soft porn poll

I've never seen the point in soft porn. If one chooses to look at porn, it won't be the soft stuff and if one doesn't like porn, they won't look at the soft stuff. I think it should be banned everywhere

I voted for don't really need it, because that's what I think! Though I probably agree in theory with all four.
I certainly don't want anything banned because I wouldn't like it to be that kind of place here.

It's just there are SO MANY of these posts! I worry I am missing out on cigar action in the NSFW posts. It's not like I'm some kind of prude either, I could provide examples but it would kinda conflict with the point of the argument. :P

I really don't know what to suggest though.

Sure, but it is not always used by everybody.

Like I said before, I am not fussed about this at all. I look if I want to look, just that the titles of threads do not always suggest pictures.

It feels out of place to me here, but I would always choose not to ban anything if I could help it.

I don't know if it is subconscious but my mouse finger clicks on NSFW before my mind even flags it up. Of my faults, it is one of the least

...which is precisely why I went for Option 4.

Putting aside the issue we're voting on, I am pleased we don't just write about cigars on here. I see it as a place for all manner of stuff. Speaking absolutely personally, if it was ONLY about cigars, I'd get bored off my skull after a while and walk. The top forum in the list that Deano created allows for this variety of topic, ie General Off-Topic Chat.

The opinions expressed by 'newbies' are as valid as those of us who have been around here since the start. The place is, after all, barely one year old.

After having read the different views here, I opted for the fourth choice. NSFW material is not for everyone - and it even may offend some users. That is exactly why the NSFW tag is so useful.

As long as everyone is sensible and uses discretion - ie not overloading a cigar forum with too many beautiful women - I should think everything would continue to run smoothly.
