I bought the latest issue of CA yesterday at Stockholm airport during a moment of boredom between flights.

First thing I noticed is that it was stashed between the man's mags so I was disappointed that there were no half naked ladies inside .

14 pages of real cigar content (i.e. excluding adverts and adverts dressed as articles) out of 160 pages... WTF!!! I sure won't be buying it again.

Yeah! I hear that, senor maleintent.

But CA has the best cigar reviews and good articles on Cuba by J. Sucklin, IMO.

But what the hell do I know!!! You know what we use paper for in Mexico, doncha?

That's 'kin outrageous Alberto. CA should be ashamed of that amount of content, hands down...

TJ, the reviews are nice , but it is called Cigar Aficionado not "Rich Bugger with too much money to spend Monthly... and some Cigars thrown in for good measure" . If it has Cigar in the title I would expect about to see half the content focus on the glorious sticks not a measly few pages at the end, but what do I know, I am a crazy scientist .

CJ do I notice a tiny amount of irony there?

Ahem, well pardon me for runnin' with the rich!

Still like the mag, even with all the nice, shinny fluff.

Ive purchased two issues since the start of this thread and can offically give it Kdots stamp of shitness.

It comes out every two months and contains so little about cigars its absured.

The phrase "jack of all trades, master of none" comes to mind.

Well, I'm in partial agreement with you, senor BJ

I Like CA, hate Smoke (except the covers, if you catch my drift ).

I prefer Cigar Magazine, especially the Cuba articles by Simon Chase!

Yo! It's Ray Jay, Ray Jay Coro, and why is everybody callin' me TJ

I agree, CA could be so much better if it focused on cigars a little more. Cuban cigars more than non Cuban; after all if it is an aspirational title! So show those who are unable to buy what they are missing.

The way the magazine industry is going it will face an increasingly tough time over the next twelve to eighteen months.

Nice first post, senor stevie (may I call you stevie, stevie?) Clean, straight forward, and no f'ing smilies!!! Good job!

But you realize that the target market for CA is the good 'ol USA, where they can't get fine habanos, like the rest of us.....or can they?

Names Ray Jay, Ray Jay Coro, and I'm posting for TJ, TJCoro, who represents the magical, magnificant State of Mind, Mexico!

Hey senor stevie, bet you can't do this!
