NHS cigar donation

Hi there guys I hope this is ok to post here

My name is Joe I'm currently working on a camping called cigars for hero's here in the UK.

This is a one off campaign to request and distribute donations received to our much loved life savers here in the North East completely free of charge!
We’re also looking to support our local businesses anyway we can throughout this campaign. Given the current situation.
I personally worked for the NHS as a porter for nearly 10 years and seen the trials and tribulations that come with the territory so
Our aim is to get as many donations as possible and then distribute out across NHS services within the North East of England.
We’re looking for help with donations of:
Coffee – fuel for that whopper 14-hour shift!
Biscuits – fuel for those who didn’t manage to have a proper break!
Cakes – for those that need a cuddle!
Sweets – for the joker’s that keep our spirits up!
Cigars – for the weary socialite with no party

I'm sure this is completely above board etc, but the facebook page you linked to only has you as a member and I can't find any other details about the campaign other than your own personal email/instagram you've published.

I'd like to just pause with publishing your contact details here (which is against forum rules, but obviously for charity we could make an exception) until we have confirmation this is a genuine campaign. Is there any further information you can provide me?


I hope you understand that we wish to support any iniatiaves but are weary before we do the due diligence.

[MENTION=1]Deano[/MENTION] Hi there thanks so much for you're feedback in fortunately I'm totally new to this sort of media aspect so not sure how to post any more info other than in the 'about' section on the page tab as you've highlighted I'm currently the only member and hoping more people would join the cause and spread the word I could quite happily provide credentials (I work in the NHS) via my works pass and any other info you may need a phone call /video/photoes to validate the campaign. I'm a cigar smoker my self for about 5 years. As the donations have come generously in for NHS staff over the months in the form of food and beauty products ect (at risk if sounding ungrateful or do I feel in any way entitled to) not much has been sent in the way of "stuff for the lads" so to speak and talking to allot of colleague's who are quite like-minded in in regards to cigar smoking coffee drinking ect ect

I completely understand and appreciate you're caution as I'm well aware of the significance of scammers and can and will do anything to help negate that

If there's any ideas or suggestions on how to correct this pleas by all means let me know ��

Sorry Joe, I really don't know how to proceed. I'd reach out to other charity projects or organisations and see how they deal with it.

Hi there I just thought I'd do an update..... unfortunately I've had to pull the plug on the campaign due to lack of interest . I can completely understand why no one would want to donate to a cause that isn't supported or affiliated by company but I tried and thank you for the support However I'll stay active on the forum due to a rekindled love of cigars and hope to talk to you all soon. Again thank you for all you're time
