Sold RDSB, JDW & NEX this morning. Shell dropped like a stone, as did the later two, COVID Scare lockdown threats have further killed these & they 3 won't be going anywhere above my avge in a year or more so cut my losses, down 10% overall now, that was a hard morning but fell better out of them. Never thought I'd sell Shell!. My only profit at the moment is 4D Pharma, hope they keep progressing at least.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

Very positive news from 4D Pharma this morning, hiring a new Non Exec Director. SP touch max previous best price already today & more good news due begoe Oct. If you're not in already, it's at least ready up about this company & making your own decision, whether it's worth jumping in.
I am up 58% on this share & it is the one keeping my rest afloat (still down 10% overal) but could be back in the black by end of Oct.

Another tip, Valirx, up 33% yesterday & 25% today. Very small pharma but just posted results of trial on Prostrate cancer treatment, small trail but well tolerated & very positive.
I have a maternal cousin who went down tbe surgery route 2yrs ago, as far as I know - no further cancer but lost bladder control & sexual function. Any successful non-surgical treatment has to be something worth investing in.

As a heads up we’re clearly stepping towards massively ramping up trade wars with China, there will be opportunities in that for business expanding in Europe.
For instance the European Commission will finalise new anti dumping tariffs on aluminium from China this week. That means companies like Constellium and Hydro are likely to see increases in coming days/weeks/months, could offer solid returns as European manufacturers start looking at returning production to Europe. Hard to say how much total production volume will be hit across Europe due to the virus as it has been noticeable the last few months but starting to return.
Certainly no guarantee there but I could see a decent return especially as many are currently valued low after low production earlier in the year because of reduced demand

Val up another 13% this morning. I topped up first thing, avoided raising my avge too much. 49 -to 51p. Have just 7shares now & apart from MNG, happy to hold them all long term now; hopefully no changes now until the next finnancial year, when I can add more cash.

Ok, don't say I didn't warn you, Val is going through the roof this week, started this morning on releases of an RNS giving results to their Prostrate cancer treatment. results were better than could be hoped for & now they are looking for industry partners to take this fwd. Think this will overtake 4D, my current best performing share. So if you fancy advancing prostrate treatment (something 99% of us ion this board might need one day), check out the company today before it really gets expensive, only 60p at the mo.Last edited by Simon Bolivar; 28-09-2020, 08:20 AM.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

12 patients went through the trial, 11 collected enough data to study. all were stage 4 terminal patients. During the trial no one died (possibly just luck of course), & 54% responded throughout treatment & should no progression. Importantly, there were no bad side effects (unlike with most cancer treatments), 11/12 had venous site inflammation, 5/12 fatigue, dyspepsia 1/12, muscle spam 1/12, hypertension 2/12 & Bradycardia (slow pulse rate) 1/12. I have seen worse outcomes from a dodgy Vindaloo!
Next stage is full clinical study of this project, which is expected to report by end of year. In the mean time, as I mentioned, they are in discussions with Industry partners to evaluate all options for further clinical development.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.
