Working from home: The Playlist

As you imagine with spending twelve hours a day in my cabin working from home Alexa is working her little socks off as I look for something to listen to. Top of my playlist has been 'Synthesis' by Evanescence but I'm currently rediscovering 'The Seventh Sojourn' by the Moody Blues which is great background music.

For me I need things I don?t get too distracted with, been a mix of Khruangbin, Gogo Penguin, Totoro, Enemies, Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnalds. Only started WFH yesterday!

Can't work with words in the background, so has to be instrumental and, inevitably then (but not exclusively), classical. I've found renaissance/baroque works well, especially lute. Real hardcore huh!

I've a bunch of playlists on spotify. Bluesey, heavy metal, greek, 'smooth' older soulful, Rachmainov(!), hipetyhop, latin/cuban, funky. I use the radio feature based on my playlists a fair bit.

Need to go jazzy too and find some new stuff.
