First ‘handle’ was 2001, in that very year, but didn’t really work for longevity so in 2002 I changed it to 3001 and have used the same one since.Comment

Funny story, on one of the Canadian sites they were moaning about people using alaises to sell cigars, which never turned up. I launched into a tirade about why would they allow that (when to be fair most were using normal names) when someone had the nerve to ask if my name was really Simon Bolivar? It's been part of me for so long now I hadn't noticed I was shooting myself in the foot!
In my defence I could only say, everyone in the Cigar world knows me as Simon Bolivar so if I don't deal an honest deal my rep' is shot, just as much as if I used my real name.
