My watch tells the time, doesn't need a ?300 a year service, keeps perfectly accurate and as it's ?7 I have no worries about scratching it or damaging it.
Longcase clocks, mantle clocks and pockets watches hold more interest than modern stuff.
But each to their own.
A Breitling Chronomat is my daily, had that for almost 20years.
A Tudor Blackshield, got a great deal for a full ceramic case.
A black faced Tag Monaco.
G Shock for holidays
And a series 3 Apple Watch for when I’m expecting to have my hands tied up most of the day as it’s easier to read emails without locating my phone.
The Saxonia is a lovely but if I step up to that level my next purchase is likely to be a Rolex Submariner or AP Royal Oak

Nice collection. I'd love a royal oak - my absolute grail. Almost perfect save the meagre water resistance. And exorbitant price tag.
