Bakewell tart doesnt, but proper bakewell pudding is great with custard AND ice cream

Good lord. What's the matter with the two of you? Bakewell does not need ice cream or custard. Just a nice cup of coffee. OK OK, or perhaps tea if you're that way inclined.
