I remember reading about low tech drones being used by ISIS and the Taliban to attack military bases. Even when seen in time, multiple machine guns and anything else a military base has to offer, only managed to get maybe half or even less of the drones flying towards them (they were equipped with bombs, detonating on impact). Given that you don't want to shoot thousands or rounds in a populated area, what can be done? It seems like there is hardly any defence against this.

Not only sad for the passengers that have their christmas ruined, but also for the advancement of drones. Surely there will be calls for all kind of regulations now, throwing back the use of drones by years.
