Ta. The Mt is a weapon - power everywhere, twist and it just goes exactly as far and fast as you want. More comfortable too. No wind protection though so tiring touring at 80 - neck ache. Mean looking, not pretty, but it grew on all my mates eventually.
The superbike is obviously less comfy - swap neck pain for back pain, but it does cut through the wind like a scalpel, if you like a cliche. And it's very, very, very fast. I actually bought it without ever even seeing this shape gixxer irl, let alone sitting on or riding one. Was a covid special too good to pass up. I thought the r1 looked better (and it probably does), but actually this looks mint in the metal - I now love that lairy paint job. And it has crazy cheap payments - ?143pcm after ?500 down to be precise - and it's new with a 3 year warranty, r1 would've been used. And I've had a crossplane engine - I fancied a silky smooth i4. V happy.
Had a few little conversations about motorcycles on different threads, and we deserve a thread that smells of leather, petrol, and slightly singed rubber.
So I'll start it off. I've currently got an Ducati 899 Panigale, and the wife has an MV Agusta F3 800. I can't seem to upload photos onto here, so here are a couple of links of them on my instagram.

Cafe racers and muscle bikes or somewhere inbetween usually yes, love a naked bike and more of a chilled ride generally. Do miss my old blackbird from a technical point of view and what it could do but don?t find lying down on a bike is for me really.
Aye brought up with cars initially and tinkering so bikes are fun cause it?s so quick and easy to get to everything compared. Think I?m happier rebuilding a bike than riding really
Yeah they look like fun projects. I've watched a bunch of restorations on YouTube (mikey from piha's bmw k100 is my fave) - I love just watching people cleaning and polishing parts. I can't just about oil my own chain - that's it [emoji6]
