Have to stay over in London on Thursday night.
Any recommendations for a good cigar near Borough Market or Excel centre?

Boisdales Canary Wharf for the latter. If you go to any of the pubs near Borough Market do not leave any property unattended, theft is rife.

If you're in the borough market area there is the swan near the globe lovely outdoor area overlooking the Thames and Boisedale in canary wharf, great food, live music and a cigar terrace, there's also Indoor smoking room but you have to buy one of their overpriced cigars.
